My sister and I inherited our childhood home on the west side of Charlotte when our father passed away. My sister gave Chad a call. We met him and his family who are in business with him at the house. As soon as they walked in, they immediately made us feel their empathy for the death of our dad and the understanding of our attachment to this home. We enjoyed getting to know them, and they got to know us by allowing us to tell some stories of our growing up in this house. They told us that they wanted to purchase the house, just as it was, to turn into a rental. We were pleasantly surprised.
